AERATION IN BIOFLOC :

Air pumps are useful for tank water aeration and filtration also Ideal for biofloc systems . In addition to the requirement for aeration, mixing is also very important, as the floc particles must remain in suspension in the water column. Maintaining proper water flow velocity is essential for optimizing biofloc systems and keeping microorganisms suspended in the water column. An additional benefit of aeration and mixing is the removal of gases from the water column, which can have a great effect on overall water quality. We need 24hr oxygen supply in our biofloc tank.

Without Oxygen, How far the Fish Will Survive?

  • IMC(Indian Major Carp) will survive for 15-30 min max.

PROBIOTIC:

Probiotic used in BioFloc Fish Farming, it is a naturally occurring bacteria, nutrients, micro and macro minerals which helps in the growth of floc, phytoplankton and natural blooms. It creates and maintains high water quality to create an ideal environment for the better growth of aquatic animals. It oxidises ammonia to form nitrates. Enhances natural nitrification cycle to convert nitrates into Nitric oxide, Nitrous oxide and harmless nitrogen. It improves the uptake of nutrients and their retention in the soil. It converts complex compounds to simple form for easy bio degradation. It is effective in a wide range of salinity (0-50ppt) and pH. Functions well in >28 Degree C to 50 Degree C

FEEDS :

Biofloc Fish Feed Management :

In the traditional fish farming system, fish consumes very little amount of feed supplied to them in the water. The wasted feed degrades and then turns into toxic metabolites. Then, it pollutes the water and affects the surrounding environment with the stench it emanates from as well. The feed is an important part of fish farming. Every day a regular amount of feed is essential for the growth and development of the fish.

Wasted feed, as well as fish excreta, is converted into the feed which can be consumed by the fish in biofloc fish farming. The combination of microorganism, fungi, and algae, etc., forms a Biofloc which absorbs inorganic waste and then enhances water quality. Thus, the problem of water pollution is solved in this manner. Also, the fish farmers can save money on feed and it is readily available as well.

CONSTRUCTION :

Biofloc Construction Looks difficult but not that hard that you can not do by yourself. You just need to hire Local Construction-Mistri/worker and a plumber For water output and input setup and aeration motor setup.

We are going to give to Details Diagram of how to Setup a biofloc fish tank by yourself. Continue Reading……..

How Your Setup Looks after construction :

Diagram Of Biofloc Construction :

Below we are going to give you your tank setup and construction images to have an idea.

Step 1 Ground Leveling :

After Leveling Let’s Proceed to our 2nd Step.

Step 2 Ground Construction Work:

STEP 3 – HOW TO FIT TARPAULIN IN THE TANK :

Bellow we mention how to setup Biofloc tank and fit tarpaulin mention step by step bellow

Water Preparation :

Now Feel All tanks with fresh water, Note water must be clean rather it hard to maintain into this culture. Due to low consumption of water you don’t have to worry about water on a daily basis. Once it is full it will last for 6 month or one culture. Only you need 10-20 liter of water every 7-15 days per tank. This water will be lost when your drain you water to remove Sludge Every 7-15 days.

What Product We need In Water Preparation:

1.Raw Salt (Non Iodized) Used For TDS management

2.Caco3 (For Ph Management in tank)

3.Molasses/ Liquid jaggery ( Used for Ammonia Management)

4.Probiotic (Used For bacteria Management)

After Getting required items, Feel all the Tanks 15000 ltr Water and start aeration and leave it for 24 hr with aeration. Then Test For TDS after 24hr.

After 24 hour We are going to move to our Next step. TDS Management Our Required TDS parameter is 1000-1500 PPM. If you are getting Your tank TDS 300-500 ppm you can easily Add 1Kg Raw Salt and leave it for 3 hours. IF Your TDS is below 300 then you can add 500gm Raw salt every 3 hr gap and check TDS after every 3 hours circle. We have to maintain TDS 1000-1500.

After TDS management We are going to move our Next step PH Management. We Need Our TDS percentage between 7 – 8 Max. We are going to use CACO3 to manage our unbalanced TDS level. Generally Take 50 grams of CACO3 for 1000 liter of Water. IF your TDS is high it reduces your TDS and takes you TDS level to normal percentage or if your TDS is too low it helps to boost your TDS level and take to normal percentage. It Works on both side both Low and high TDS level.

Note: Don’t use Chuna in state of CACO3.

Now we quickly Next step of water preparation, We are going to use Probiotic and Molasses Together. We can take add 50 grams of Probiotic 50 grams and 100 grams of Molasses for 1000 liter of water. calculate as your tank capacity, For 10,000 liter tank we need 500 grams of Probiotic and 1 kg Molasses.

Put Molasses and probiotic into a Bucket and Mix well. Now your mix is Ready to add.

* We recommend using this At night for Better Result. After 3 days add 1 kg Molasses And leave it for 1 day.

Note: Don’t Stop aeration From the day we start. When We start it will remain like this till the end of the culture. We need 20 Hour Oxygen Supply.

Electricity backup:

We Recommend you to use Electric backup before start. You can directly buy from Amazon.

Fish Seeds Sensitization :

Why do we need to sanitize our Fish seeds ?

When we buy seeds it comes from a long distance of 6-12 Hour of travelling. As you are seeing in the picture Koi fish are having sharp wings, While traveling it make tiny cut in their body And when you put them in the tank the very soon get into diseases soon. So we have to sanitize them Properly before putting them into tanks.

We are going to give you a step by step Guide How to Sensitize Fish seeds with images.
Step – 1 :

When We receive our Fish seeds It’s temperature is different from the tank water. So We need to Put our Seeds Packs like this as Shown In the image below.

Step – 2

After 30 minute to 1 hour we are ready to move to our next step of sensitization Process. We need 3 thing to start this process.

  • Plastics Buckets and strainer
  • Potassium Permanganate (KMnO₄) (For sensitization )
  • Haldi (Natural antibacterial )(For sensitization)

We Need This type Plastics Buckets and strainer as shown in the picture. you can buy them directly from Amazon itself.

Biofloc Bucket

Let’s Quickly Take 3 bucket, First Bucket We add 10 liter of water and we can take 1 gram Potassium Permanganate (KMnO₄), Second Bucket we feel 10 liter Haldi Water (5 grams Haldi), Last Bucket Plain Water.

Let’s Open Fish Seeds Packs One By One And Put them Into strainer. One Packs take for a single round, Don’t hurry it’s a slow process. Dip the strainer 3 time in Potassium Permanganate (KMnO₄) First bucket then dip them 3 times in Haldi Water 2nd Bucket and Finally Dip it 3 times in normal water. Now Take the fish seeds and Slowly Put them into the tank. We are going to give you step by step pictures to make you understand better.

Now Your Culture is ready. Now you have to take-care of daily basics. Try to maintain all the parameters

How Much Profit We Are Getting From A Single Culture ?

Culture Duration : 4-6 Months

Harvesting Size : 150 Gm (Approx)

BioMass After 4-6 Months :  0.150 x 3300 = 495 kg (Single Tank 10-12k ltr tank)

Selling Cost : 495 x 200 = 99,000 (Single Tank 10-12k ltr tank)

BuyBack Price : 200 INR Per Kg (Market Price 400 INR)

Total Biomass We are getting 495 x 4 = 1980 Kg From 4 tanks

We Can sell easily in 200 Inr, Now Final price we are getting 200 x 1980 = 3,96,000

Government Subsidy we are getting 60% (we Have taken 4 lakh investment)= 2,24,000
