Chinese phone maker nubia’s been teasing the Red Magic 6 since last year, and today, the company VP Mr. Ni Fei confirmed that Red Magic 6 will be unveiled on March 4 in China – the same day Realme is launching the GT 5G. However, Realme’s launch event will begin at 2PM China time, whereas nubia’s will start at 7PM.
In his Weibo post, Mr. Fei said the Red Magic 6 will come with the four fastest technologies (machine translated from Chinese). The poster he shared also includes four icons below the racing car, which likely depict an HRR screen, fast charging, better touch response, and a cooling fan for sustained performance.
nubia teased 120W charging and 4,500 mAh battery last month, which we later learned will be a part of the Pro variant’s specs sheet. The Red Magic 6 is said to charge at up to 66W.
The Chinese phone maker also shared a video earlier this month to hype the improved cooling fans on the Red Magic 6 but didn’t get into details.
That said, we are still about two weeks away from the unveiling, so more information about the Red Magic 6 lineup should follow in the days leading to the official announcement.
