Realme GT could officially be the name of the Snapdragon 888-powered flagship from the company, that’s currently known by its codename race. The phone has been rumoured to feature a non-curved display and supports fast charging as well. However, until now, the phone has been going by its codename Realme Race and this is the first official hint that we have seen.
As per a post by a company executive on Weibo, the picture shows us a scale model of the GT-R which hints at the possibility that the upcoming phone from Realme will, in fact, be called the Realme GT. The GT is expected to be a new lineup of smartphones and the phone was also seen visiting TENAA certification website.

Previous leaks have revealed that the Realme GT could feature an AMOLED screen with 120Hz high refresh rate support and in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and will be offered with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB storage. It is likely to run Android 11-based Realme UI out-of-the-box.
The Realme GT is also expected to have triple cameras on the back headlined by 64MP primary camera, a 13MP telephoto camera and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera. There’s a punch-hole cutout in the top-left corner for the selfie camera. It is also expected to be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 125W fast charging out-of-the-box.
Apart from this, the Realme GT is expected to launch sometime in March however, the company is yet to reveal any official details. The phone could first debut in China before making its way to other regions. Realme is also expected to launch the Narzo 30 series in India sometime this month. You can read more about that here.
