Born in 1971, Susmita Mohanty has closely watched the evolution of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). When the space agency was formed in 1969, her father, Nilamani Mohanty, was among the first young scientists that Vikram Sarabhai recruited. For Susmita Mohanty space has been an integral part of her life and one that enamoured her.It was this love that finally culminated in India’s private space company called Earth2Orbit in Bangalore.
